Fun Planet at Central Plaza Mall (7th Floor)

One day we walked to the mall for dinner and started wondering around and we found this!  We froze in place and our jaws dropped.... This. Place. Looks. AMAZING!!!  And I also realized that this was on our bucket list, so it was perfect!  Can I tell you this place is meant for ALL ages!  Beckham loved it, who is 18 months old, my 3 year old had a blast, I saw teenagers hanging out here on Friday night playing DDR and this other cool game that looks like DDR but you do it with your hands!  Jason and I were even getting giddy planning future date nights shooting zombies and racing each other on the race car games.

You go to a desk and give them money for tokens.  100 baht gets you 10 tokens.  A lot of the little kid things only takes 1 token so you could have a bit of fun for just a couple dollars. ☺

See those cars at the bottom of the picture?  Those are bumper cars that you can drive anywhere there is space!  There is a open hallway-ish thing at the front of Fun Planet by the restrooms and elevator where a lot of the kids drive their cars.

There are several different air hockey spots and this one is small enough that Beckham played by himself with me.

Who wouldn't want to try out the huge robot?!?

Train that drives on a track in a circle.

Will is actually REALLY good at steering!

So this is where we spent a lot of our time... an hour to be exact.  For 100 baht a kid, they get to play in this jungle gym for 1 hour!  If your kids are smaller than 100 cm, then the adults get in free as well.

It had this HUGE slide that was super fast but enjoyable and Beckham LOVED it!  He went on it for more than half the time we were in there.  He eventually got tired of going up those stairs on the side so I had to carry him, but it was so much fun!

There is this enclosed-ish room that has 3 fans on the ceiling and a ton of balloons inside.  The fans made the balloons fly so it was like playing in bubbles... but they were balloons.  I loved this room!

There was also this palm tree thing that could be considered dangerous I guess, but my kids have no fear and they loved it.  You sit on the ball things and someone spins the tree.  Its kind of like that swing ride at the fair.

I love it when I sneak happy pictures of Will!

There were even giant Legos!

Honestly, this place (at that particular time) saved Bangkok for me.  I will be honest, I am not a big city girl.  I like a city to be big enough that I can drive to almost any store in 10 minutes from my house, but the traffic and hustle and bustle of a big city, stresses me out.  This place, in my mind, gave Bangkok some "saving points".  This was the first activity that we have been able to do as a family that everyone enjoyed.
